What is Graphic Design?

Graphic Design is creating computer art. It is when shapes and colors complement each other on a page. The designs look good together and there is a good use of space. Graphic Design is used in advertising. A graphic designer makes posters for companies or organizations. They might design websites, backgrounds, or logos. I like logos that are simple and cute. Movie covers are cool when they show a lot of characters and display an emotion or tone. I like the simple, sketchy look of some logos. Fonts are also really important to think about because all of these examples show fonts that fit with the overall look.
